George A. Hayek is a graduate of the University of Miami Arts and Sciences School with experience that includes 33 years of senior executive corporate management specializing in marketing, merchandising, purchasing, international sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and strategic planning. George has been a small business owner since 1992.

Roger Washburn, a graduate of the University of Michigan Business School, has 31 years of corporate management experience, specializing in financial analysis, project management, and information technology. He has been a small business owner since 1998.

They are dedicated to excellence, integrity, detail, follow-through and teamwork. Upon completion of their corporate careers, George and Roger entered the real estate business, specializing in luxury primary, secondary, vacation and investment properties. They have consulted and advised on various projects in the Bahamas and Caribbean. It was this experience, supported by successful careers in marketing and sales, which inspired IslandAndResort.com.

Today,George and Roger are business partners in Island and Resort, Inc. (an advertising and marketing company) and Island and Resort Realty, Inc. (a Florida real estate brokerage).
