Five years ago, I asked many of my friends in Provo, “With all the resorts and high end restaurants, what is truly the best restaurant in the islands?” The all answered without hesitation, Da Conch Shack. Then is was not much more than a shack at the side of the road serving up the best tasting conch this side of anywhere. Today, Da Conch Shack is hard to recognize from its humble beginnings, but they have held true to great food and better conch. For an authentic taste of the Caribbean, you must eat at this very casual, breezy restaurant on the ocean and off the tourist path... it doesn't get any better or fresher.
You can watch as conch is pulled straight from the sea into the kitchen where a variety of recipes are prepared and served "island style." You'll love it... and taste the best island liquors at the specialty rum bar too!
